Staff Bios

We are especially interested in making all of our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our treatment team members are expanded duty dental assistants with x-ray and CPR certifications, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Christy Hackett
Christy is the lab technician at Graf Orthodontics. She grew up in Bossier City and is a proud mother of a bright and wonderful daughter, Hannah. With nearly two years in her current position, there’s nothing she cannot make in the lab. Christy spends the majority of her time working and raising her daughter.

Jessica Bardwell
Jessica was born and raised in the small town of Doyline. She enjoys going to the races and watching LSU football. Most of all, she loves spending time with her friends and family. Jessica is a graduate of the Training Academy for Dental Assistants. She is now a clinical assistant at Graf Orthodontics and loves every second of it!

Laniece Melvin
Laniece is from Shreveport where she attended and graduated from Northwood High School. She has been a clinical assistant in both general dentistry and orthodontics for over ten years and loves her job. Laniece has three beautiful children, Koby, Kaden, and Kaleigh.

Linda Dennis
Linda has lived in the Minden area all her life. She resides with her husband, Marvin, with whom she shares two handsome sons and five wonderful grandchildren. She is the financial coordinator for Graf Orthodontics and has been for eight years. She brings twenty-four years experience in the medical field to our practice. Linda loves to travel, which is great since she commutes ninety miles to work and back everyday!

Nicole Freeland
Nicole is a clinical assistant at Graf Orthodontics. She lives in Bossier City with her husband, Kris, and their two dogs, Hamlet and Phoebe. In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading, exercising and, most of all, spending time with her family. Nicole received her undergraduate degree from LSUS and her post-graduate degree from UTA. She has worked in the orthodontic field for over twelve years and is now thrilled to be a part of the team at Graf Orthodontics.

Sheila McLaren
Sheila is the new patient coordinator at Graf Orthodontics. She lives in Marshall, Texas with her husband Ray, and son Colten. They have two dogs, a Yorkie and a Lab, and a cat. Sheila’s hobbies include water skiing, snow skiing, camping, and an occasional duck hunt with Colten and Ray. She has been in the orthodontic field since 1998 and thoroughly enjoys being part of a team that loves to make people smile.

Kylie Hughes
Kylie was born and raised in Natchitoches, LA. She has just recently moved to the Shreveport-Bossier area with her husband, Nick, and their daughter, Kaylie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Kylie has been a clinical assistant for 3 years and truly enjoys it.

Amy Ogrinc
Amy recently moved back to the area after being gone for over 20 years with her husband serving in the Coast Guard. She has two beautiful teenage daughters and two precious dogs. Amy has worked in the dental field for more than 10 years. She is very happy to be back home and working at Graf Orthodontics!

Ashlee Knighton
Ashlee is a clinical assistant at Graf Orthodontics. She lives in Benton with her husband, Randy and their son, River. Ashlee enjoys doing anything outdoors with Randy and River. She has been in the orthodontic field for over seven years and enjoys helping to create beautiful smiles!
